Privacy policy

Nodal: Brain Puzzles · published by Nixotica · effective 18 August 2026

Nodal is a logic puzzle game. This policy describes what it collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is short because the app collects very little.

You can use Nodal without giving us anything

Signing in is optional. The tutorial, the puzzle editor, Escalation mode and any daily puzzle already downloaded all work signed out. If you never sign in, no account is created and we store nothing about you.

What we collect, and only if you sign in

What we do not collect

Advertising

Nodal is free and supported by occasional full-screen ads shown between puzzles. Ads are served by Google, which may use your device’s advertising ID to select them and to measure whether they were seen. Google’s handling of that data is covered by how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device’s Android settings.

A one-time in-app purchase removes ads permanently. It unlocks no puzzles or features — every part of the game is available without it.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Two things are worth naming plainly:

Where it is kept and for how long

Your account and progress are stored on servers we operate in Amazon Web Services, in the United States. Everything the app sends travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We keep your data until you delete your account, after which it is removed — see below.

Deleting your data

Open Settings in the app and tap Delete account, twice to confirm. Everything is removed immediately and irreversibly.

Full instructions, including how to request deletion if you have already uninstalled the app, are on the account deletion page.

Children

Nodal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will update the effective date at the top and the change will be visible in this page’s public revision history on GitHub.
